Born in Los Angeles and deeply rooted in New Orleans, she brings both influences to her Memphis catering business. The spirit of those places can be seen in her presentation and tasted in her dishes: vibrant, expressive, and made to bring people together.
Her creative life extends beyond the kitchen. Malika is an artist on canvas and on stage. She attended Xavier University in Louisiana and continued to hone her contemporary art practice through art and design schools, community shows, and kitchens across the South. Taste by Malika brings those experiences together in food that is as personal as the gathering it serves.
